Kelly Nash

Kelly has always had a passion for supporting and caring for those with additional and complex needs. From working in nursing homes with people suffering from dementia, youth clubs supporting young people with learning difficulties, and a special school setting, working with pupils with profound and multiple barriers to learning as well as Autism; every environment has provided unique challenges that have been a joy to face.

Each setting has allowed her to develop a deeper knowledge of the intricacy of brain development, Autism, sensory integration and positive behaviour management. This has allowed all young people in she works with to thrive as individuals regardless of their diagnosis.

She has developed her own practice through training in Team Teach, Sensory Integration, SaLT and Intensive Interaction, and through a Level 3 ‘Specialist Teaching Assistant qualification accredited through Chichester College. She has just begun her RBT training. Her values and aim is to always be learning, and deepening her knowledge to further help those she works with.

Her drive to work with young people with additional needs and seeing that passion in others has inspired her to not only support pupils, but families as well. She has provided respite care and fully believe in a holistic need to support all areas of a child’s life. She is someone who always strives to ensure that families feel supported, loved and heard through the work that she does.

We are delighted to have her be part of the TLC team
